Monica lets Rachel use her health insurance after a fall, so the two swap identities for a pair of doctors, while Ross panics about fatherhood and Joey takes Ursula out on Phoebe's birthday.

What happens

• Rachel arrives at the emergency room with a hurt ankle and no insurance, so Monica reluctantly agrees to let her use hers.
• Monica asks the admissions nurse for a fresh form and pretends she wrote her own details on it by mistake.
• Joey learns that Ursula's birthday falls on Phoebe's and decides to take Ursula out anyway.
• Monica and Rachel answer to each other's names for the two doctors treating them, and Rachel accepts a date for both of them over Monica's objection.
• Phoebe walks into her surprise party, is delighted by it, and immediately asks where Joey is.
• Ross asks his father when fatherhood first felt real to him, and his father describes the morning after Ross was born.
• The dinner turns into a fight in which Monica and Rachel insult each other while still playing each other, and Monica tells Rachel's father on the phone that Rachel slept with Billy Dreskin.
• The hospital calls only about an unsigned form, and Rachel admits that Monica was right that the whole deception was not worth it.
• Phoebe finds out from Ursula that Ursula has ended things with Joey and has no intention of telling him.
• Marcel swallows a Scrabble tile, Ross carries him into the emergency room, and Dr. Mitchell agrees to treat the monkey.
• Phoebe dresses as Ursula to break up with Joey for her, and Joey works out who she really is.
• Marcel comes through the procedure, and Chandler tells Ross that stepping up for him was the act of a father.
