Sunday, 28 January 1996

Ross discovers the zoo lied about Marcel's death and tracks the monkey to a film set in New York, while Joey extracts himself from a stalker and Phoebe loses a library job.

What happens

• Joey shows off his first fan letter, and Monica notices there is no stamp on it, meaning the writer was inside their building.
• Rob Dohnen offers Phoebe a paid job performing her songs for children at the city libraries.
• A zoo administrator tells Ross that Marcel got sick and died, and offers him zoo dollars by way of apology.
• A zoo janitor tells Ross that Marcel was stolen in a break-in and now works in entertainment, and Ross identifies him as the monkey in the beer commercial.
• Joey admits to Erica that he is an actor, and the others convince her he is Drake's evil twin Hans so that she leaves to find the real Drake.
• Rob tells Phoebe the library board has fired her after parents complained about the content of her songs.
• Ross finds Marcel filming a movie in New York and gets the monkey to recognize him by singing to him on the set.
• Susie Moss recognizes Chandler on the set as a fourth-grade classmate and asks him to take her out to dinner.
• Rachel approaches Jean-Claude Van Damme to tell him Monica likes him, then accepts a date with him herself.
• Susie persuades Chandler to wear her underwear to dinner, then strips him in the restaurant bathroom and walks off with his clothes to pay him back for fourth grade.
