The One With Phoebe's Wedding

Phoebe and Mike lose their venue to a blizzard and marry on a snowy street instead, after Phoebe fires Monica as wedding planner and then asks her to come back.

What happens

• Phoebe asks Joey to walk her down the aisle because her step father cannot leave prison for the weekend.
• Monica, running the wedding, swaps Phoebe's steel drummer for a harpist and orders an ice sculpture, ignoring the simple wedding Phoebe asked for.
• At the rehearsal dinner, Phoebe tells Ross and Chandler that neither of them is in the wedding party.
• One of Mike's groomsmen drops out, and when Phoebe refuses to pick between Ross and Chandler she forces the decision onto Rachel.
• Monica hurries Phoebe through her toast until Phoebe stops, tells her off in front of everyone, and fires her.
• Rachel gives in to Ross and promises him the spot, then gives in to Chandler and promises it to him as well.
• Ross and Chandler compare notes and confront Rachel, who hands the place to Mike's family dog instead.
• Buried in vendor calls she cannot handle, Phoebe begs Monica to take the wedding back, and Monica does.
• A blizzard closes the city and knocks out the venue's power, so Rachel suggests a street wedding and Phoebe and Mike agree.
• With the minister snowed in, Joey performs the ceremony and Chandler gives Phoebe away, and she and Mike marry outdoors in the snow.
